I’m a huge Trance fan, which may seem counter-intuitive, but there you have it. I love the energy and majestic, melodic sweep. I also really enjoy playing live drums with DJs, and I wish I got the chance to do that more often. My personal endurance record is five hours of uninterrupted four-on-the-floor, with three other percussionists playing huge doumbeks. Here’s a bunch that caught my ear for one reason or another.
