Demo: UX Writing Examples

UX writing
From 2020 to 2022, I worked as a Senior UX Writer for Skillsoft, an American educational technology company that produces learning management system software and content.

During my time there, we increased click rates from 8% to 11% for email campaigns, via my refreshed microcopy. The focus areas included skills assessment, gamification, on-boarding, integration with Pendo and MS Teams. Our core methodology was data-based continuous improvement through frequent research sessions.

UX writing is a relatively new field. I helped establish language guidelines to better reflect the company brand and personality, while guiding users frictionlessly to their destination. Below are some examples.

I enjoyed doing UX writing, and it plays to many of my strengths. I’d like to do more of it in the future, so if you have a project or opportunity, please feel free to email me. Thanks!

NOTE:
